Introducing the Intern Voices Series

At Articul8, our culture code is rooted in humility. I often say we are humble gangsters because I know, personally, that none of us got here on our own. I am who I am today because of innumerable people, mostly strangers, who helped me along the way. That truth carries a responsibility I take seriously: to pay it forward. And as a team, we have chosen one of the most meaningful ways to do that by investing in the next generation.


When we designed our intern program, we wanted it to be different. We didn’t want interns tucked away on projects that never see the light of day. We give them production requirements, the same ones that move the company forward every day. Whether you are a high school senior or a PhD student, the expectation is the same. Your work sits on the hot path. If it meets the bar, it ships to customers. And when it ships, you earn the right to publish it here, in your own voice.


The promise we make to our interns is simple. We will not waste your time and we will not waste ours. You will work on problems that demand production-quality, world-class results. The bar is not lowered for interns. It is the same, and sometimes even higher, than what professional journals expect because our work has to ship. The expectation in return is clear. Rise to the challenge, ask for help, learn voraciously, lean into mentorship, and deliver.


What I have seen is remarkable. Our interns have risen higher than I imagined, breaking records and building domain-specific GenAI tools in industries like aerospace, energy, and finance. They have shown me again and again that boldness and humility together can create outcomes that move the world forward.


The Intern Voices Series is our way of celebrating that. You will hear directly from them about what they learned, where they struggled, what mentorship meant, and how it felt to build something that shipped. In their words, you will see how our Culture Code (e42) : humility, bold bets, and deep care, comes alive in practice.


I believe the best way to show our culture is by letting you hear from those who are living it. Our interns are preparing for the future by shaping it with us today.
